Was it an unlicensed marijuana shop that San Diego police raided Feb. 1 in the Midway District or a church with cannabis as a sacrament? Claim for damages by Sacred Source Sanctuary. (PDF) According to a $1.1 million claim filed Wednesday — a precursor to a possible lawsuit — the police targeted a “nature minded” religious organization. It calls itself Sacred Source Sanctuary.
