San Diego police said they raided two illegal marijuana delivery businesses operating out of apartments on Wednesday, seizing marijuana, concentrated cannabis, cash and business records, police said.
Officers in the police department’s Narcotics Unit served search warrants at apartments on Huerfano Avenue near Karnes Way in Bay Ho and Oliver Avenue near Noyes Street in Pacific Beach, which were both operating as a cannabis delivery service called Pacific Highlife, said police Lt. Matt Novak.
Officers seized seven pounds of “high grade” marijuana, 1½ pounds of concentrated cannabis, $3,000 in cash and business documents, Novak said. An employee was arrested on suspicion of operating a business without a license and selling marijuana. More arrests of operators of the business are expected, Novak said.
