Commentng on an article about the Native American “church” (pre”tendian”) situation at ONAC Sugarleaf Rasta et al entitled
“The following email was set to Sachem Graves PRIOR to KM's decision to put our Mother Church on notice that we distrust them. We felt that we should go ahead and share it with you now so you're aware of what's in the works and planed for all ONAC churches future:”
(Originally published nov 13, 2017)
I sat in a room two years ago with an ONAC representative and heard a sales pitch for a church. Five grand, he said, and you will be legally covered under ONAC's legally recognised and supreme court victory enshrined rights to use and distribute peyote, ayahuasca, and cannabis sacraments. Buy into our church, he said, and you will have a virtual license to exchange cannabis for donations legally and without fear of arrest, so long as we followed a particular set of guidelines. I asked some hard questions at that meeting, and did some looking into the true legal status of ONAC.
What I found was that ONAC had a single court victory, over a case in which founder Mooney was charged with peyote distribution and mounted a religious defense. He won the right for ONAC to use peyote among its members, but only within the state of UTAH. He did not advance his case to the federal level, and thus never got the same acknowledgement of rights from the federal government. They had no legally recognised right to use peyote outside of utah, and no legally recognised right to authorize others to do so either.
Yet that is what they sold, a legally recognised right to use and distribute schedule one substances, and the promise of legal assistance if any police didn't follow the law and allow it. "Your membership card puts police on notice immediately" they told us... This is what people paid five thousand dollars for. They claimed that their court victory gave them the right to sell the right to use and distribute not only peyote, but any natural sacrament including cannabis, san pedro cactus, ayahuasca, and psilocybe mushrooms.
Two years ago they were going around selling licences to deal drugs, and whenever someone got busted, it was always the same, the old faith-healer's dodge "You didn't follow the instructions and so our promise of protection is void", just a variation of "your faith wasn't strong enough and thats why you weren't healed". Mooney used this dodge on his own son.

An interesting thing to come of an otherwise quick and dull arraignment was that not a single of her boasted "Legal Attorney team" stepped forward to the court offering to represent Lepp! The reason we find this pertinent is because Lepp had openly boasted that if Any member of her so called "Church" were to find themselves in legal trouble regarding their illegal operations, that Lepp had as many as 13 attorney's who would jump to protect them.
Information operations and warfare, also known as influence operations, includes the collection of tactical information about an adversary as well as the dissemination of propaganda in pursuit of a competitive advantage over an opponent. RAND research has enabled military leaders and policymakers to develop strategies and policy frameworks to address the challenges of these military operations.
RAND Corporation (“Research and development”) is an American nonprofit global policy think tank created in 1948 by Douglas Aircraft Company to offer research and analysis to the United States Armed Forces. It is financed by the U.S. government and private endowment, corporations, universities and private individuals. The company has grown to assist other governments, international organizations, private companies and foundations, with a host of defense and non-defense issues, including healthcare. RAND aims for interdisciplinary and quantitative problem solving by translating theoretical concepts from formal economics and the physical sciences into novel applications in other areas, using applied science and operations research.

Americans became acutely aware of Russian information warfare after the 2016 presidential election, but Russia’s actions are anything but new. For more than a century, Russia has relied on disinformation, propaganda and other similar measures to achieve its objectives. For the last three decades, it has exploited its growing capabilities in cyberspace to spy on, influence and punish others.
In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin practically boasted that his country’s “patriots” may have led the efforts that upset the U.S. political process, and last week President Donald Trump and Putin spoke of establishing a joint cybersecurity unit — an idea the U.S. president quickly backed away from.
By THOMAS FULLER and RICHARD PÉREZ-PEÑAOCTOBER 13, 2017SANTA ROSA, Calif. — With towering flames bearing down, one victim delayed escape in hopes of saving his new truck — but he could not find the keys.
An elderly couple slept as danger erupted, not waking until it was too late to flee down their one-lane road. Another couple, who barely missed their chance to drive away, huddled in a pool, surrounded by fire and choking smoke; he survived, but she did not.
As widely varied stories emerged of how people died in the wind-driven fires that have ravaged Northern California, the element common to each tragedy — and to many of the tales of people who got out alive — was how quickly it happened.
Advance warning was measured in minutes or seconds, or never came at all. Hesitation was lethal.
“My dad’s best friend was calling and calling my parents, but they were completely asleep,” said Trina Grant, whose parents, Arthur and Suiko Grant, died at their hilltop property just outside Santa Rosa. “By the time my dad finally picked up and his friend said ‘You’ve got to get out,’ it was probably already too late.”
The confirmed death toll reached 35 on Friday night, making this the deadliest wildfire outbreak in California history, and the figure is likely to climb. Thousands of homes and businesses have been destroyed, hundreds of people who have been reported missing remain unaccounted for, and emergency workers have barely begun the grim work of combing through the blackened, smoking ruins of houses, cars, forests and businesses.

A general strike (or mass strike) is a strike action in which a substantial proportion of the total labour force in a city, region, or country participates. General strikes are characterised by the participation of workers in a multitude of workplaces, and tend to involve entire communities. General strikes first occurred in the mid-19th century, and have characterised many historically important strikes.

Beneath Yellowstone National Park lies a supervolcano, a behemoth far more powerful than your average volcano. It has the ability to expel more than 1,000 cubic kilometers of rock and ash at once — 250,000 times more material than erupted from Mount St. Helens in 1980, which killed 57 people. That could blanket most of the United States in a thick layer of ash and even plunge the Earth into a volcanic winter.

Yellowstone’s supervolcano could erupt much faster than anyone thought
BGR News • Mike Wehner • 21 hours ago
There’s a dangerous giant sitting dormant in the United States, and when it finally wakes up it has the potential to cause utter devastation. I’m talking of course about the supervolcano hiding beneath Yellowstone National Park, and while it’s long been thought that any hint of a possible eruption would be seen thousands and thousands of years in advance, new research throws that safety buffer right out the window, suggesting that the Yellowstone Supervolcano could go from calm to critical in as little as decades.

President Trump’s Manhattan properties and business partners, including former Soviet Union-connected oligarchs, were involved in a larger international money-laundering scheme involving upward of $1 billion, according to Dutch filmmakers whose third installment in an investigative series aired on public TV in Holland Wednesday.
“We wanted to know in depth how money was transferred from Kazakhstan to the United States and how this could relate to Donald Trump, the Trump Organization and Trump’s real estate,” said Sander Rietveld, director of The Dubious Friends of Donald Trump, Part III: The Multibillion-Dollar Fraud, broadcast on Zembla, a program of the VARA Broadcasting Association.
Steven Rosenfeld covers national political issues for AlterNet, including America's democracy and voting rights. He is the author of several books on elections and the co-author of Who Controls Our Schools: How Billionaire-Sponsored Privatization Is Destroying Democracy and the Charter School Industry (AlterNet eBook, 2016).
The og “holy book” from the fake land called “Israel”, (the Torah) wasn’t good enough for the Young Jews on the block, the Jesus crowd, so they made up their own book. They quaintly call the older text“the Old Testament”, and theirs the “new” testament.

Peter Hecht, former political writer and Los Angeles bureau chief for the Sacramento Bee, has been reporting on cannabis since 2009. His coverage has been honored for explanatory reporting in the "Best of the West" journalism awards and earned an Excellence in Journalism prize from the Northern California Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Hecht is the author of the book “Weed Land: Inside America’s Marijuana Epicenter and How Pot Went Legit.”
The Startup Years
As Eddy sat in stir, Heidi founded and grew her own successful business. She saw how medical marijuana calmed her own PTSD, and recognized an opportunity to help others and create a thriving business. Her Sugarleaf Consulting firm drafted paperwork to organize some 200 cannabis producers as non-profit mutual benefit corporations that operated as patient collectives under California’s medical marijuana law.
“She is tricking property owners,” said James. “She is convincing them she can protect them. And she is attempting to practice law without a license.”
“When she can’t protect them, they are stuck with hundreds of thousands of dollars in code violations or criminal violations,” James added.
Over the past 50 years, Israel has become the epicenter of medical pot. Home to Raphael Mechoulam, the pioneer of marijuana research, Israel is where THC and the endocannabinoid system were first discovered. And with the world's largest number of clinical trials testing the benefits of medicinal cannabis, Israel has become the global destination for medical cannabis research and development. Now it is becoming the offshore greenhouse for American cannabis companies seeking to overcome the federal roadblocks standing in their way.
The Lambert Center is one of several American institutions that have partnered with BOL, collaborating on at least one of the more than 50 clinical trials the Israeli company will begin once its new facility is fully operational in late September. Of the 15 international companies that have already signed up to conduct their R&D at BOL's facility, at least six are American, and Gedo is in talks with more.
BOL isn't the only Israeli cannabis company benefitting from international interest. A growing number of American investors are getting on the Israeli cannabis wagon, which they see as the best vehicle for transforming the medical cannabis field, still in its infancy, into a pharmaceutical-level industry.
Beyond the implications for legalized marijuana in California is the much thornier issue of attorney-client privilege.
With her blond pixie haircut and black tailored skirt suits, attorney Jessica McElfresh represents the new face of California marijuana law: polished, professional, and regulation-oriented. Yet early on the morning of May 24, a SWAT team raided McElfresh’s San Diego home, where she lived with her mother and boyfriend. Heavily armed police officers handcuffed her and hauled her, still wearing pajamas, to the backyard, where they read the arrest warrant out loud—just loud enough for the neighbors to hear. That day, McElfresh was the criminal, not the attorney
McElfresh was accused of being an accessory to a crime related to her representation of Med-West, a licensed cannabis manufacturer and distributor, and its owner James Slatic, who had been simultaneously indicted for more than a dozen related felonies for fraud and money laundering that could lead to 15 years in prison. The case against not only Slatic’s business but also his lawyer appears to have been a broad assault by a prosecutor’s office determined to charge as excessively as possible and win, even if it meant being hazy about the facts behind the case.
What’s the Torah bible Koran actually?
from the time when folks could not read, only “the priests” could. When men were kings, nobles, and slaves, and women were mostly all slaves. Except a few random Queens and 👸 princesses
When the earth was widely believed to be flat. Literally.
Women were called witches and roasted. Men who could read had power over all.

There will not be a book published this fall more urgent, important, or controversial than The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, the work of 27 psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health experts to assess President Trump’s mental health. They had come together last March at a conference at Yale University to wrestle with two questions.

Rastafari originated among impoverished and socially disenfranchised Afro-Jamaican communities in 1930s Jamaica. Its Afrocentric ideology was largely a reaction against Jamaica's then-dominant British colonial culture. It was influenced by both Ethiopianism and the Back-to-Africa movement promoted by black nationalist figures like Marcus Garvey.
Rastafari, sometimes termed Rastafarianism, is an Abrahamic religion. Classified as a new religious movement, it developed in Jamaica during the 1930s. It lacks any centralised authority and there is much heterogeneity among practitioners, who are known as Rastafari, Rastafarians, or Rastas.
Rastafari refer to their beliefs, which are based on a specific interpretation of the Bible, as "Rastalogy". Central is a monotheistic belief in a single God—referred to as Jah—who partially resides within each individual. The former emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie, is given central importance. Many Rastas regard him as an incarnation of Jah on Earth and as the Second Coming of Christ. Others regard him as a human prophet who fully recognised the inner divinity within every individual. Rastafari is Afrocentric and focuses its attention on the African diaspora, which it believes is oppressed within Western society, or "Babylon". Many Rastas call for the resettlement of the African diaspora in either Ethiopia or Africa more widely, referring to this continent as the Promised Land of "Zion". Other interpretations shift focus on to the adoption of an Afrocentric attitude while living outside of Africa. Rastas refer to their practices as "livity". Communal meetings are known as "groundations", and are typified by music, chanting, discussions, and the smoking of cannabis, the latter being regarded as a sacrament with beneficial properties. Rastas place emphasis on what they regard as living 'naturally', adhering to ital dietary requirements, allowing their hair to form into dreadlocks, and following patriarchal gender roles.

What's real, grasshopper? Use your mind.
Keeping guns with herb is a setup for disaster. And wrong. What’s at the root of Eddy & Heidi’s interest in Rasta and or Native American spirituality? Why are they abusing our actual first amendment rights regarding our sacred plant cannabis.? Is it simply commerce. Or something more complicated and sinister perchance.
Like rust, the government never sleeps. Can you say cointelpro?
Project MKUltra, also called the CIA's mind control program, is the code name given to a program of experiments on human subjects, at times illegal, designed and undertaken by the United States Central Intelligence Agency. Experiments on humans were intended to identify and develop drugs and procedures to be used in interrogations and torture, in order to weaken the individual to force confessions through mind control. Organized through the Scientific Intelligence Division of the CIA, the project coordinated with the Special Operations Division of the U.S. Army's Chemical Corps.
In 1977, a Freedom of Information Act request uncovered a cache of 20,000 documents relating to project MKUltra, which led to Senate hearings later that same year. In July 2001, some surviving information regarding MKUltra was declassified.
Forty-four American colleges or universities, 15 research foundations or chemical or pharmaceutical companies including Sandoz (now Novartis) and Eli Lilly and Company, 12 hospitals or clinics (in addition to those associated with universities), and three prisons are known to have participated in MKUltra.
Herb Folks, lets count the ways this is effed up:
What do you mean when you use the word faith?
If you have some, why?
All American citizens have a first amendment right to use cannabis as sacrament without government or corporate interference. Its not just for native americans, its for all of us.
The 1st Amendment is not an option, ITS THE LAW of the land according to the U.S. Constitution. The reason it was the FIRST amendment, is because of its importance. None of the others matter, without its guarantee.
Sometimes it's good, actually useful. How's yours holding up?
we got your holy right here, peace mongers!

The city formerly known as San Diego has about 15 "legal" city authorized and licensed, herb shops open now, with 50 to 100 non authorized herb shops and two hundred plus delivery services operating "above ground", here in the DMZ. Also, Vegas is hoppin'.

Once news reached me, I called dispensaries. Most said they plan to deliver, but less than a handful are delivering at this point, including Apothecary Shoppe on Flamingo (patients must buy a minimum of $100 or so); Euphoria Wellness on South Jones Boulevard ($50 minimum); and Las Vegas ReLeaf on Paradise Road ($100 minimum).

Its coming together. Or is it? John Nobel, Randy Welty, and Craig Beresh have been involved in ongoing 'weed' related businesses at 936 Garnet and beyond, ad infinitum. The game continues. May 2014 update @ the old website
Federally managed weed shop update:
went by the feds shop at 936 Garnet two weeks back, at eight fifty am; the place was dark, the 24 hour flashing neon sign unplugged. Weedmaps said they were gonna open in one minute. It turns out they close at 3am now, instead of 24/7.
Then last week I popped by again, going in this time; they asked me to (again) fill out their lame forms, “as a new patient”, because “they are under new management”. I did, so I could get into the herb room itself.
Understand this is the third “management team”, since december 18, 2013, at this exact location. Some of the products are unique to this location, in fact some of them have not seen since december 2013…
The DEA in LA and SD oversee this operation, lock stock and barrel, my friends. There is no other rational explanation.
This is our town, our nation, and we need to declare our 1st amendment rights, (eff the 2nd amendment and every one past the first), WE ARE EQUAL TO ANY RELIGION!

Located in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of New Berlin (San Diego, to the uninformed), is the cops biggest most blatant scam, Planet Greens.
- Who is the landlord?
- How is this landlord connected to the previous TWO "mmj" dispensaries to occupy his (their?) building?
- What happened to Randy Welty, the first guy who ran an herb shop (Green Earth Herbal Collective), not raided on 9 9 2009, (when 14 others were). The guy who stayed open for many months afterwards? The fellow who along with Agent Beresh, ran some sort of "patient groups" (aka Marijuana Merchants Assoc.).
- What happened to the second group (Garnet Greens), to make millions of dollars, at this location, recently "raided" by the feds. Where is the follow-up, in the main stream media, or even the marginally free press outlets (CityBeat, SD Reader et al).
- Why are some landlords given passes, (like this one, and the landlord at 841 Turquoise), who then re-lease their "hot" property as if nothing happened? Where is the DOJ on this? Where did the money go?
