Illegal Pot Shops Are Opening Faster Than San Diego County Can Shut Them Down — Voice of San Diego

On one stretch of Troy Street in Spring Valley, four illegal marijuana dispensaries are open for business. Each uses green paint and the ubiquitous green cross to distinguish themselves. To better stand out, some use Google Maps’ red teardrop icon, turned green and with the words “You are Here” in bold lettering. At night, the dispensaries’ storefronts are lit with bright green Christmas lights.

hfn editors note: it’s been this way for many years, all over San Diego County. Many Police are complicit. They make bank from seizures of cash and herb (which they resell often times). There does not have to be a trial they just scoop the money up and “distribute it” among the “agencies”.

Planet Greens is the classic example.

This ain’t the 14 amendment they teach you in law school, it’s criminal activity, by the cops. 🔥💲🌲

Maybe the fossils on the Board of Supervisors, like Dianne Jacob, should just go away. There's now a legal framework for cannabis sales and instead the supervisors prefer to ignore the will of the voters by banning sales. What's happening is a direct result.
